These are our classroom notes taken by students. These SHOULD NOT be the only notes you study. You should have your own notes from class as well. These notes are here to be a good example of note taking and an easy way to study without having to bring your notebook everywhere.

Adding Integers 5-3
-Same signs, same direction. Example) -3 + -7 = -10
-The signs the same, Add. Example) -2 + (-3) = 2 + 3 = 5. Then use the same sign. = -5
-The signs that are different, Subtract. ALWAYS look at the sign!
